I think I speak for most that we are ready for 2020 to be done…. I end the year hopeful yet exhausted from dealing with disease and meanness, and not willing to fight any battles on social media or otherwise…. Let’s pray hard that 2021 will be the beginning of an upswing, of better times to come, and that once again we’ll find a way to live in harmony and with joy.

Christmas 2019
2020 Christmas looks a lot different than its earlier versions…. Thankfully, we still have our health and we are taking in the plentiful sunshine in our new (temporary) bricks-and-sticks residence, Colorado. Last year, after a couple of blissful weeks at the beach after Thanksgiving, we packed up the RV and headed back to Tennessee to surprise David’s family with our visit for Christmas.

Blue-green water, gentle sunshine, quiet walks on the tourist-free beaches—that’s the Emerald Coast in the winter. We dipped southward and tucked under palm trees for a couple of weeks last December, waiting for Christmas.

One step closer to “home”–Knoxville, Tennessee–we had a great time hanging out with the soft and surprisingly good-smelling llamas. The Lazy Llama Campground in Chuckey, Tennessee is a great rural escape where visitors can enjoy petting and hiking with llamas, as well as take wool spinning and art lessons.
