My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2020. At the time, we still had our two dogs which we sadly lost shortly thereafter due to old age. Needless to say, if you ever had a pet, you know we were heartbroken and missing them constantly. We still do. When we had the opportunity to attend the Goldens in Golden event, a reunion of happy dogs and their proud parents taking place each year in February in Golden, Colorado, our hearts melted and were temporarily soothed. Whether you own a Golden or not, if you love dogs, this event is not to be missed. Just be aware that it is very popular, so parking might be a challenge. Be prepared to feel a whole lotta love, though – it’s worth it! I’ll be there again this coming Saturday, February 7, juggling taking pictures and petting as many furry friends as possible. Maybe I’ll see you around!
